In your Device Apps list, tap myMDM Icon

Then tap on the « Register here” option

Input your email address and your password (twice) – use “Next” button to move to next field

Hit next to see the « Register » button and tap “Register”

Success ! you are now a registered myMDM Parent user

Upon launch, myMDM will check for a new version and propose to install it, tap OK

myMDM may also require to access your device camera and media files, tap ALLOW

HELP 2 :Registering child device

Explanation : It’s necessary to install myMDM Child on the child phone or tablet, and to register it with the parent device

On your child device (phone or tablet), install myMDM Child from Google Play Store, and open it

Tap ALLOW to allow myMDM Child to use device camera

Tap ACTIVATE to allow myMDM Child to control child device

myMDM will open the Apps Usage Access, Tap myMDM Child in the list

Switch the Permit Usage Access to On, then hit the device “BACK” button

On the parent, tap “Add Devices”

using the child device, scan the parent QRCode

Child device is now registered and will appear in parent “My devices”

Child device may request permission to draw over apps. Switch the permission ON and hit the Android back button

HELP 3 : Check my child devices

Explanation : Now that child is registered with parent, you can check the child device for installed apps and allow/disallow some apps usage

In the main page, tap “My devices” to display all your registered children devices

You can tap on «Rename» device to change the name of a device

Tap on “Installed apps” to see all the installed apps on the child device

In the list you can select an app and tap “Lock App” to prevent your child from using it

App turns to red in the list, simply tap “Unlock app” to allow its use again

On child device, when an app is locked, a password is required to use it

HELP 4 : Alerts on apps installation

Explanation : Everytime a new app is installed on a child’s device, parents get an alert on their own phone, and can quickly disable the child app if needed

When a child installs an app on his device, parent device receives an alert displaying a white circle in the Android top Status bar

You can immediately lock this app by tapping the “Lock” button

HELP 5 : Set up Curfew

Details : Curfew allows parents to monitor if the phone is used during a period of time, and either receive an alert, or simply lock the child’s phone for the period of time

tap the”Device Curfew” action to open the curfew setup page

Then you will set start time and end time for curfew and decide whether you want to be alerted in case of phone usage in this time range, or you want the phone to be disabled – Hit the “SET” button to activate the curfew

Curfew is now set but since it’s not time, it’s not active on the child device

When time comes, myMDM shows “Curfew active on device”

Opening the alert explains what happended, on which child’s device

if you selected “Block” mode, then when your child tries to use his phone during curfew it will have to input the parent password to unlock

If you selected “Alert” and the child’s phone is used, then the white alert circle shows up in status bar of the parent device
